Ansonia is 6-1 against Tri-County North since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Ansonia Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tri-County North Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Ansonia will be strutting in after a victory while Tri-County North will be coming in after a defeat.
Ansonia scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They managed a 67-63 victory over Fairlawn. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Ansonia as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Tri-County North's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 16th straight defeat. They were the victim of a rough 72-49 loss at the hands of Arcanum. Tri-County North has struggled against Arcanum recently, as their game on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Ansonia's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Tri-County North, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that loss, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
Ansonia beat Tri-County North 64-52 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Ansonia repeat their success, or does Tri-County North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
