Make it seven blowout wins for the Withrow Tigers this season. They really took it to Hughes for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-36 win on the road. With Withrow ahead 35-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Withrow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyriana Berry out in front who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 20 rebounds. Berry is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Tatiyana Berry was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Withrow and bumps their season record up to 10-6. As for Hughes, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Withrow will head out on the road to square off against Aiken at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hughes, they will play host again and welcome Taft, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Taft is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
