When it comes to explaining why Milaca lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brock Talberg. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Talberg has scored all season. Samson Trigg was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Even though they lost, Milaca were working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Milaca's defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Braham, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.
Milaca won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mora at 7:15 p.m. on January 12th. Mora presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Milaca in Minnesota (Mora is ranked 148th, while Milaca is ranked 372nd). As for Braham, they will be playing at home against Hinckley-Finlayson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
