West Essex has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mount St. Dominic Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, West Essex was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Park Ridge.
Meanwhile, Mount St. Dominic Academy suffered a rough 54-32 loss at the hands of West Orange on Monday. Mount St. Dominic Academy has struggled against West Orange recently, as their contest on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
West Essex has not been sharp recently as the team has lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season. As for Mount St. Dominic Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11.
West Essex strolled past Mount St. Dominic Academy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 42-27. Will West Essex repeat their success, or does Mount St. Dominic Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
