The Mountain View Mavericks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 100-17 loss at the hands of Boise. Mountain View has not had much luck with Boise recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Boise's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaity Haan, who scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds. The contest was Haan's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Avery Howell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Mountain View bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Boise, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1.
Mountain View will be playing in front of their home fans against Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Middleton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Saturday. As for Boise, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Idaho Rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Boise is ranked third).
