Bishop Kelley's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the East Central Cardinals, posting a 64-30 victory. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 23 points or more this season.

Bishop Kelley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Julia Grisaffe out in front who went 8-for-18 on her way to 18 points and six steals. That's the most points Grisaffe has posted since back in December of 2024. Anne Blankenship was another key player, going 6-for-14 to rack up 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Bishop Kelley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Bishop Kelley is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.8 points over those games. As for East Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.
