The Clayton Clippers took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (and then some). They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 54-21 victory over Pennsauken Tech. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-8.
Rainelle Blocker had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 rebounds. Ava Delaney was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Clayton's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pennsauken Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Clayton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Penns Grove at 5:30 p.m. on December 15th. Pennsauken Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
