Denison was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  defeat. They took  a  6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greenville Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  2-1  last Tuesday.
Denison's loss dropped their record down to 5-22. As for Greenville, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record  this season.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Denison will  square off against  rival Sherman  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greenville is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Lovejoy  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
