Gladwin scaled the state rankings by moving to 298 from 348 this week, the biggest jump in Jack Pine. The Flying G's climbed the ranks as a result of topping Roscommon 28-7.
Beaverton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in the league. The Beavers vanquished Harrison 34-22 earlier in the week.
Demetri Trice was a passing and rushing force as Gladwin beat the Bucks. He completed 5 passes for 52 yards and 1 touchdown and also ran for 148 yards.
Jamie Hammond was a key player and the best on defense this week as Roscommon fell to Tyler Foor's team. The 5-foot-10 senior recorded 2 fumbles.
Joe Huston was the best wideout in the league this week as Clare topped Farwell. Huston racked up 5 receptions for 92 yards. Charlie Bugbee helped Clare's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 40 yards.
