The Summers County Bobcats lost to the River View Raiders back in February of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Summers County enjoyed a cozy 70-51 win over River View. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Summers County.
River View lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Gabe Lester, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Danielson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Summers County pushed their record up to 9-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for River View, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2.
Summers County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-61 win vs. Greenbrier West on the 9th. River View has also already played their next game, a 69-57 loss against Independence on the 9th.
