The Faith Academy Flames will challenge the Keystone Cobras at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Faith Academy has four straight  wins, Keystone has five straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
On Thursday, Faith Academy made easy work of San Juan Diego Catholic  and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Faith Academy took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15,  25-13.
Faith Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Ella Chavira, who  had eight assists and five  aces, and   Ava Beltran, who  had four  aces and three  digs. That's the most  aces  Chavira has posted  over her last six  matchups.  Elizabeth Neeley also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  block of the season.
 They weren't the only good servers: Faith Academy  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 16  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in four consecutive  contests.
Meanwhile, Keystone lost  3-0 to Central Texas Christian on Saturday.
 Keystone took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15,  25-18.
 Faith Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Keystone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.
 Faith Academy might still be hurting after the  3-0 loss they got from Keystone  when the teams last played  back in October of 2024. Will the Flames have more luck at home instead of on the road?
