The Breckenridge Buckaroos had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Dublin 55-31. The win was just what Breckenridge needed coming off of a 77-56 defeat in their prior contest.
Breckenridge was led to victory by Destiny Jamison and Kaysi Wilcox. Jamison scored 13 points, while Wilcox scored 26 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilcox has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Karsyn Smalley, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Breckenridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-23. As for Dublin, they dropped their record down to 6-18 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Breckenridge will square off against the Longhorns at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Dublin, they will be playing at home against the Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Comanche presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Lions in Texas (the Indians are ranked 89th, while the Lions are ranked 1065th).
