Conway Christian was dealt a 78-39 defeat at the hands of Southeastern Christian Academy. Conway Christian has struggled against Southeastern Christian Academy recently, as their match on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Conway Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brailin Barnhill, who scored nine points. Henry Ulloa was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Southeastern Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Grady Price, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds. The contest was Price's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Anderson, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Conway Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Southeastern Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic the next time they take the court. Conway Christian will head out to face St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Southeastern Christian Academy will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
