This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Bobcats back in November of 2024, they had to take a 55-33 loss.
Ella Robertson and Kynlee Speed certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Robertson went 8 of 19 on her way to 25 points, while Speed posted 14 points. Robertson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.
Pearl River Central moved to 5-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Sumrall, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season.
