2A District 7 recap Oct. 30, 2012
Glades Day led 2A District 7 in scoring this week after putting up 65 points on Summit Christian.
Highlands Christian's Trystan Lago and Kyle Audet have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Lago has thrown for 1274 yards this season, while Audet, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 20 catches for 459 yards. Kelvin Taylor from the Gators leads the league in rushing with 884 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Zion Lutheran takes on Glades Day. The Lions are in seventh place, while Pete Walker's team is in first place.
Coral Springs Christian featured an ironclad defense this week, and led 2A District 7 in points allowed with 0.
