Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Louisburg at home against the Panthers as the team secured a 47-16 victory. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for Louisburg this season.
Meanwhile, Ottawa unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 70-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pittsburg. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Louisburg's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Ottawa, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Louisburg came up short against the Cyclones in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 50-46. Can Louisburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
