Grafton got a massive performance out of Grace Zvara, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave Zvara a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Eernisse, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.
Grafton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nicolet only posted an OBP of .211.
Meanwhile, Wauwatosa West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against Divine Savior Holy Angels, falling 25-9.
Grafton's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Wauwatosa West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
