Homer-Center can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Purchase Line Red Dragons as the Homer-Center Wildcats made off with  an  11-2 victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Homer-Center.
  Braden Dunn was a major factor no matter where he played. He  struck out ten batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   nine  hits (and only one walk). Dunn has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Dunn was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Caleb Palmer was a standout: he scored three  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Owen Saiani, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Like Homer-Center, Purchase Line also got a great game from a two-way player:  Austin Chambers. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  4.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and five unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Chambers was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases.
 In other batting news,  Devlan Kordish made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Purchase Line  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with eight  strikeouts. This was only their 11th loss (out of 12 games) when  they post five or more  strikeouts.
 Homer-Center's win was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 15-4. As for Purchase Line, they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-18.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Homer-Center will  challenge Bishop McCort at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Purchase Line, they will head out on the road to  take on  Penns Manor at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
