There's no place like home for Discovery, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Providence Christian Academy Storm on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was all the more spectacular given Discovery's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while Providence Christian Academy are ranked 163rd).

The win snapped Discovery's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-9 record. As for Providence Christian Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.

Looking ahead, Discovery will take on Buford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Buford will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Discovery surely won't give up without a fight. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
