There's no place like home for the Whitman Vikings, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-49 margin over Northwood. With that victory, Whitman brought their scoring average up to 60 points per game.
Whitman's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sean Curran, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Hayden Walsh was another key contributor, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 19 points and 2 assists.
The victory got Whitman back to even at 1-1. As for Northwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
