Plymouth Whitemarsh won the last time they faced William Tennent and things went their way on Friday too. The Colonials took their game with ease, bagging a 42-15 win over the Panthers. Given the Colonials' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 156th, while the Panthers are ranked 469th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Plymouth Whitemarsh's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Michael Giangiulio, who rushed for 108 yards and one TD on only ten carries, and also picked up 77 receiving yards. Giangiulio has become a key player for the Colonials: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Michael Bongard was in the mix too, providing Plymouth Whitemarsh with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Plymouth Whitemarsh was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 332 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 244 rushing yards in five consecutive matchups.

Plymouth Whitemarsh didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Devin Spruill.

Plymouth Whitemarsh pushed their record up to 7-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.8 points on average over those games. As for William Tennent, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Looking ahead, Plymouth Whitemarsh will take on Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 13.4 points per game this season, so the Colonials' offense will have their work cut out for them. William Tennent does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
