The Viewmont Vikings entered their tilt with the Northridge Knights with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Viewmont came out on top against Northridge by a score of 61-53 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Viewmont also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Viewmont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mary Carr, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Aubrey Mulitalo was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Viewmont has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Northridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Viewmont will face off against Bonneville at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Bonneville: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while Viewmont has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. As for Northridge, they will challenge Woods Cross at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Woods Cross is ranked 60th, while Northridge is ranked 66th).
