In what's become a running theme this season, the Colquitt County Packers gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Brooks County 57-29 at home. The win was familiar territory for Colquitt County who now have five in a row.
Colquitt County was led to victory by Nyleigha Knighton and Amira Walters- smith. Knighton scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Walters- smith scored 13 points along with three steals. Knighton continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Amareyia Knighton, who scored 11 points.
Colquitt County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Brooks County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
Colquitt County will square off against Camden County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colquitt County knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Camden County likes a good challenge. As for Brooks County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-36 victory vs. Irwin County on the 10th.
