Wahama waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Parkersburg Catholic Crusaders by a score of 78-66. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 77-69 back in December of 2024.

Parkersburg Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Leonardo DeAngelo, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 18 points and five assists. DeAngelo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Branson Lott, who went 6 of 7 en route to 14 points.

Wahama's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Parkersburg Catholic, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Wahama didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 82-39 victory against Tolsia on the 14th. As for Parkersburg Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Fort Frye at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
