The Hannah-Pamplico Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 79-36 loss at the hands of Lake View. Hannah-Pamplico was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-16.
Leading Lake View to victory were Gwendasia Page and Jaleya Ford. Page shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 12 assists, and ten steals, while Ford scored 31 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Page has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy'Kiara Waters, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Hannah-Pamplico dropped their record down to 3-19 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Lake View, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.
Hannah-Pamplico does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake View also has no future games currently scheduled.
