Spring Garden had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder, posting an 84-20 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Jacksonville Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore SOPHIE WILLIAMS posted seven points and 15 boards. The dominant performance gave WILLIAMS a new career-high in rebounds.

The win (which was Spring Garden's 16th in a row) raised their record to 31-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Spring Garden will host Oakwood Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Spring Garden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Oakwood Academy likes a good challenge. Jacksonville Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
