Cass Tech came out on top against Greenhills on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run second inning. The Technicians were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Gryphons.

The team relied heavily on Jelani Jabari, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Jaidon Mobley, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Renaissance came out on top against Mumford on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run third inning. The Phoenix put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 17-1 win. The Phoenix's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Jaden Kiel made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kiel was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That run was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Brandon Jones was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season. Ace Davis was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Renaissance always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Cass Tech's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Renaissance, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
Renaissance's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Cass Tech hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. It's a different story for Renaissance, though, as they've only averaged .185. Will they be able to contain Cass Tech's hitters?
