Carroll County has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Eminence Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Carroll County is ranked 247th, while the Warriors are ranked 229th).
Last Tuesday, Carroll County lost to the Rebels on the road by a decisive 53-39 margin.
Meanwhile, Eminence scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 63-19 victory over Beth Haven at home. The win was just what Eminence needed coming off of a 50-16 defeat in their prior matchup.
Georgia Scott and Victoria Spiegl were among the main playmakers for Eminence as the former dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds and the latter scored 20 points along with seven assists and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Scott has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Smith, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Carroll County dropped their record down to 5-15 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Eminence, their victory bumped their record up to 7-13.
Carroll County came up short against the Warriors when the teams last played back in January, falling 51-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Spiegl, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
