Kickapoo is on a 15-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Glendale is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Kickapoo Chiefs will take on the Glendale Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Last Friday, Kickapoo was fully in charge, breezing past West Plains 71-41 at home. Given Kickapoo's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while West Plains is ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Glendale beat Lebanon 83-79 on Tuesday.
Kickapoo's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Glendale, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.
Kickapoo strolled past Glendale in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 78-59. Will Kickapoo repeat their success, or does Glendale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
