The Seven Rivers Christian Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season. They really took it to West St. John for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-18 victory on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-5.
Seven Rivers Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Annalise De beer led the charge by dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jurisah Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Seven Rivers Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for West St. John, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seven Rivers Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carrollwood Day at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. As for West St. John, they will be playing at home against International at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. International comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
