Covina found a leader in Cesar Guzman as the squad took down Charter Oak on Tuesday. Guzman struck out seven batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. The effort marked the most strikeouts he has had since back in March.

Guzman's strong effort led Covina over Charter Oak and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Colts have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
