Highland has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge The Exeter Monarchs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland will be strutting in after a victory while Exeter will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Highland slipped by Ridgeview 29-28. The win was just what Highland needed coming off of a 46-12 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Exeter unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 22-21 to Reedley.
Despite their loss, Exeter saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Jacob Molina, who threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns, was perhaps the best of all. Niqo Calderon also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Highland's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Exeter, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-1.
