Kaden McKinley gave up the fewest hits he has since back in February on Tuesday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because LaPoynor is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-9 otherwise.

McKinley's effort led LaPoynor over Cross Roads and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
