The Northview Chiefs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 55-47 to Flomaton. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northview in their matchups with Flomaton: they've now lost eight in a row.
Northview lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being JACOB SPENCE, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. SPENCE is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. AUSTIN DONSFORD was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Northview dropped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Flomaton, their win bumped their record up to 5-12.
Northview will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Jay at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Jay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northview in Florida (Jay is ranked 339th, while Northview is ranked 741st). As for Flomaton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blacksher at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
