Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes walked away with it. They really took it to the Panthers for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-10 win on the road. Considering Duncanville has won 13 contests by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Caden Durham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 226 yards while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Durham was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 56 yards.
The victory was the sixth in a row for Duncanville, bringing their record for this year to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.2 points per game. As for North Crowley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-1.
Duncanville will head out on the road to face off against North Shore at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Shore is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. North Crowley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
