The Lake Worth Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the Suncoast Chargers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Lake Worth is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Suncoast in Florida (Lake Worth is ranked 23rd, while Suncoast is ranked 149th).
Lake Worth has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 62-54 to Sagemont on Friday.
Meanwhile, Suncoast didn't have too much trouble with Palm Beach Gardens on the road on Monday as they won 69-52. The victory was just what Suncoast needed coming off of a 71-30 defeat in their prior contest.
Lake Worth's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Suncoast, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.
Lake Worth came out on top in a nail-biter against Suncoast when the teams last played back in January of 2020, sneaking past 68-65. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Suncoast's Samuel Rolle Iv, who scored 20 points along with two steals.
