Glendora is 8-2 against Bonita since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tartans will venture away from home to take on the Bearcats at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Glendora is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Claremont just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wolfpack by a score of 3-2. While the Tartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolfpack 25-21 in the first set.
Glendora started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-10.

Glendora might have lost, but man, Kaleia Zeits was a machine: she had 26 digs and three aces. Zeits is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Bonita came up short against Walnut on Wednesday and fell 3-1.
The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 13-25, 25-19.
Despite the defeat, Bonita saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Shyanne McCutcheon had nine digs and three assists. Natalia Gerber also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Glendora's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Bonita, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Glendora was able to grind out a solid victory over Bonita in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
