Centennial entered their tilt with Northland on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 73-64 win over the Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 65-61 back in December of 2025.
Northland's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owan Mburugu, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. Mburugu has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least eight boards, but 2-4 otherwise. Diante James was another key player, shooting 46% from the field on his way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Northland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
