Hart scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 83-23 victory over Lazbuddie. Hart has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, Springlake-Earth fought the good fight in their overtime game against Happy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to the Cowboys. Springlake-Earth just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Springlake-Earth's loss came about despite a quality game from jj jaramillo, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 40 points and 0 assists. Jaramillo also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Isaiah Tovar was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with two steals.
Hart pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.33 points. As for Springlake-Earth, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.
Hart came up short against Springlake-Earth in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 63-51. Can Hart avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
