It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Green Run Stallions had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They managed a 17-12 victory over Deep Creek. Green Run's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Green Run's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Deep Creek, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Green Run is on the road again on November 18th and play against Salem. Salem will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Green Run is ranked 22nd). Deep Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
