After a string of three wins, Monahans's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 37-23 fall against the Odessa Bronchos. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loboes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-38 last Tuesday.

Monahans' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-13. As for Odessa, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monahans will square off against Kermit at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Odessa, they will welcome Frenship at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
