The Everglades Gators suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. Their rough 60-40 loss to Miramar might stick with them for a while. Everglades was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Miramar apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daunte Foster, Jr, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Bailey, Jr, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Everglades are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-6. As for Miramar, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Everglades will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for Miramar, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Miami Country Day at 1:00 p.m.
