Dixie extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 3-1. They blew past the Spartanburg Flames 15-5. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

As for Spartanburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Spartanburg's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Foster, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Dixie will venture away from home to take on Belton-Honea Path at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spartanburg, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Greater Gwinnett Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
