Hingham hasn't had much luck against Silver Lake Regional recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Harbormen will take on the Lakers at 4:00 p.m. Hingham has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Silver Lake Regional had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Panthers as they made off with a 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won seven matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Kate Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Meg Arseneau and Peyton Scuilli did most of the damage at the plate: Arseneau went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Scuilli went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those three runs gave Scuilli a new career-high. Anna Kraft was another key player, going 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Silver Lake Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 14 hits in three consecutive games.
Hingham's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Silver Lake Regional, their record now sits at 14-3-1.
Hingham might still be hurting after the 15-2 defeat they got from Silver Lake Regional in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Harbormen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
