Mitchell Patten ran for two touchdowns and
Allan Stubbs added three as well as
Elsinore (Wildomar, Calif.) bested Perris (Calif.) 55-21 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Patten in the first quarter, the Tigers led 35-7 at the half.
Elsinore expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. EHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Stubbs.
The Panthers' Carlos Manuel played well. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
A 62-23 Elsinore victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
With the win the Tigers extended their winning streak to four games.
In a Sunbelt game next week Elsinore (7-2) takes on Heritage, and Perris (1-7) will go up against Temescal Canyon also in a Sunbelt game.
