Madison's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the Blissfield Royals by a score of 6-3. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Royals: they've now won five in a row.

Cameron Barber was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Caiden Randall, who went 3-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Norman Frederick, who went 3-for-5 with two runs.

Madison kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Blissfield only managed four.

Madison's record now sits at 10-6. As for Blissfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Madison beat Blissfield by a score of 12-2 later that day.
