After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Heights, Warren was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Newton Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Warren was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-17.

Warren's win bumped their record up to 25-15. As for Newton, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.

Looking ahead, Warren will challenge Buna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
