Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 51-43 to the Coronado Leopards. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Coronado, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season.

Northwest has already played their next match, an 81-30 defeat against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy on the 11th. As for Coronado, they will head out to square off against Oak Grove Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
