Mountain Range lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josieraye Running Wolf, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Delilah Lucero, who scored 17 points.
Loveland's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Courtlyn Yaussi, who scored ten points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Autumn Rinehart, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Mountain Range's defeat was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.7 points per game. As for Loveland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-7.
Mountain Range will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Monarch at 11:00 a.m. Monarch has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Loveland, they will head out on the road to take on Fossil Ridge at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Fossil Ridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Loveland in Colorado (Fossil Ridge is ranked 73rd, while Loveland is ranked 203rd).
