Fairless fell to Canton South 48-42. Fairless has not had much luck with Canton South recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Sydney Comer continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Canton South, scoring 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Hastings-Peterson, who scored 12 points.
Fairless now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Canton South, their win bumped their record up to 13-7.
Fairless will head out on the road to square off against Dalton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dalton is coming into the matchup with four straight wins at home, meaning Fairless will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory. Canton South will take on GlenOak at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Canton South focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Wednesday.
